After doing some upgrades from 12.x -> 14.1 we're having trouble with the search function being a bit unreliable for some users. It seems to be related to languague set on the user profile, but not quite sure exactly as to why - I checked the forums and found some a similar issue a few years back, but didn't seem to have any clear resolution.

Hard setting 'English' on the user profile - search works as expected.

Setting Swedish on the user profile - search doesn't work as expected, returns empty result. Running the same search afterwards (without changing view) works as intended.

Picking languague from browser seems to be hit and miss. 

Any known workarounds/fixes on this issue? The affected users wouldn't be too happy about having to run English.
