SDP Upgrade Pack (4.0 to 4.1) Release Notification

Hi All,

We are glad to announce the availability of the upgrade pack for migrating from 4.0 to 4.1 version of ServiceDesk Plus. The latest Build version of ServiceDesk Plus is 4102. This will include the feature additions that have been included in the 4.1 release. You can download the patch from :

Customers using SDP Build Version 4000 - 4003 are requested to apply the upgrade pack to migrate to the latest Build Version 4102.

Customers using SDP Build Version 4100 & 4101 are requested to apply the Service Pack to migrate to the latest Build Version 4102. Issues pertaining to Active Directory Import have been addressed in this Service Pack

Instructions to apply the Service/Upgrade Packs

1. Shut down ServiceDesk Plus Server.
2. Unzip the service/upgrade pack zip file under <ServiceDesk_Plus_Home> folder. If prompted to overwrite the existing files, choose the Yes to All option.
3. Run the script UpdateManager.bat (UpdateManager.sh for Linux) in the <ServiceDesk_Plus_Home>/bin folder. This opens the Update Manager tool.
4. Click "Browse" to select the service/upgrade pack file (AdventNet_ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_4_0_0_SP-2_0.ppm file present under <ServiceDesk_Plus_Home> folder) and then click "Install...".
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to apply the Service/Upgrade Pack.
6. Once the upgrade is complete, start ServiceDesk Plus Server.
