SDP On-demand CMDB limited?

SDP On-demand CMDB limited?

Hi there,

first of all: i've put up a post last week and i submitted it. No trace of that post to be found... not in "My Area", not on the forums itself. Although it clearly stated "your post is in moderation" (something along those lines) while i submitted it. It was submitted in the SDP forum in the General area. (i'm screenshotting this post on submit).

The issue:

I'm testing SDP On-Demand. First of all: I was flabbergasted by the fact that the on-demand version of SDP has a completely new interface, across all modules(!), while a shitload of people are asking about the new interface for the on-premises version in a post that is over a year old and is locked by the way!

Next: the CMDB in the On-demand version seems limited to these items:
  1. Access Points
  2. Printers
  3. Routers
  4. Switches
  5. Workstations
  6. Non-controlled workstations
  7. Servers
  8. Projectors
  9. Scanners
  10. Keyboards
I would like to be able to add (like i can in the on-premises enterprise CMDB-version):

  1. My SANs
  2. My payment terminals (bancontact)
  3. Monitors
  4. IP phones
  5. Mobile phones
  6. Mobile storage (USB, disk, miniSD, ...)
  7. Firewalls
  8. WLAN-controllers
  9. Network-controllers (various)
  10. etc...
Is it possible in the On-demand version to create my own CMDB-items (inherited from some parent cmdb-item)?

With regards,

Sven
