SDP integration: SSL import on Endpoint Central side after expiration

Hi, Team,

my customer has Endpoint Central UEM integration to have EC agents on their assets. When it was installed, it was running on a trial version and as it runs on https, an SSL certificate was imported to it. Everything was running until the certificate was changed in SDP and expired on the EC side. As the EC trial period also expired, when I log on to EC, it says that the license has expired and I have several options to proceed. I don't have EC licenses (only used for the agents), shall I select the "Free Edition"? It will be limited to 25 assets which are not the ones that are licensed on the SDP side. I need the agents on the workstations and servers. Is there another way to import the certificate and keep the agents?
Should I download the file
and run gencert.bat  servername:portnumber instead of importing the SSL certificate? Will it be enough?

Thanks
