We have upgraded our SDP to SDP 11.3 Build 11303

Previous to being on SDP 11.3, we used a slightly modified version of the inventory shell script to get mac inventories to populate Workstation Asset field named Model with the actual device model  such as MacBookPro13,2 instead of the very generic entry of MacBook Pro.

Now with SDP 11.3 and the Desktop Central being the inventory source feeding SDP's Assets, the field for Model is being filled with the very generic entry of MacBook Pro.  I can see in Desktop Central that it has a field name Device Model that has the detailed entry such as MacBookPro13,2

How do I get the Device Model field to populate SDP's Workstation asset record.

Examples of use would be in Report generation to see how many of each type of Mac are In Use, In Store, etc.

The Desktop Central agent is wiping out any means I had to differentiate the different kinds of Macs I have (Mac Pro's, MacBook Pro's, MacBook Air's, ...)

If someone has figured this out or if there is some mapping that I could do, a solution would be much appreciated.
