SDP 7.0 Enterprise - Enhancement Requests
I'll keep adding to this as I go through the new product, understand that I commend you on an excellent upgrade but just think with some tweaking and minor improvements it could be awesome.
Support Contact Address Book
I've started a picklist custom field for this but its not very efficient. I'd like to see and address book so that we could assign support contacts to requests, problems etc to enable the easy lookup of support phone numbers, also would allow the ability to "Forward Request to External Support" function so that email tracking could extend to correspondence between internal and external support.
Requests
- Requester Assets, this is great but can we be able to choose the columns that are shown, i'd love to add in Asset Status and also Serial Number
Reports
- Sorting, this is a pretty basic function, to be able to sort a list by specified column
- Multiple Level Grouping
- Ability to start a new page for each record of a group level. For example I want to automate Room Inventory Reports, I've created a custom field called location, assigned all the assets to their correct room, now I need a report that prints the list of assets in each room on a new sheet of paper. Also want this to be possible for requesters.
- Can we have filters with popup picklists or boxes when we run the report, for instance I want to print the Asset listing for an employee that is leaving. I want to be able to run the Report "Users Assigned Assets" and have it prompt me for the name of the user.
- Why are Assets called Resources in reports and nowhere else?
Changes
- Checklist, can we make it a checklist, one with tickboxes
- Can we have the ability to include meetings and minutes of those meetings, invite attendees and list decisions
- If a service is selected can we at least initially filter the Asset list to those attached to the service.
