SDP 14840 upgrade issues
I have noticed several users have posted articles advising they faced issues upgrading to 14840.
From java version issues, VM starting issues or even cases where SDP doesn't start as normal after updates, it is a concern.
Some have even faced major hurdles getting their SDP running again.
Can the SDP team advise:
- what are the known issues when performing this upgrade, given it can cause signficant downtimes?
- when are the known issues going to be fixed to allow us to proceed to upgrade to the latest version?
- is there an alternative to jump from 14830 to 14930, skipping 14840? SDP could provide a new bundle or a major rollup installation package to take us to the latest version.
I am advised by SDP not to upgrade until they fix the upgrade package.
Has anyone else experienced issues upgrading to 14840 and would like to list them here for others planning to upgrade so they can determine if they should proceed or not?
