Scripted changes to OpManager nodes

I'm evaluating using OpManager to monitor a cluster of a couple hundred servers. I would like to easily be able to add and remove nodes from OpManager as the cluster is modified.
Is it possible to do this through scripts, by modifying config files, or though the MySQL database? Hand entering nodes would be a bit too time consuming for our needs.
