Scope of Management - AD Sync Settings

Within the SoM Policy I have configured the AD Sync settings to synchronize specific OUs within our domain. 

I recently modified this and remove a particular OU that contains disabled computer accounts. However, when doing its daily sync, these disabled computers still appear in Desktop Central's list of computers. 

I tried performing the Sync All option but the disabled computers are still present.  Why isn't Desktop Central's updating/synchronizing correctly with AD?

I can't believe I'd have to manually remove the disabled computers from Desktop Central.
