Scheduled Off the network updates

Scheduled Off the network updates

I think this has been discussed here before but if not I wanted to suggest it.

So Desktop Central (henceforth referred to as DTC) has the ability to schedule updates.

What I'd like to see is the following:

During the week I schedule windows updates for all my machines to take place on the weekend/specific date/time.
DTC prestages all the updates to the machine at some point before the weekend/specific date/time
The local agent retains the knowledge of the date and time for the scheduled update.
Regardless of whether the machine is connected to the network (or connected to the internet for that matter) when the date/time occurs if the machine is one the local agent processes the updates.
If the date/time is missed because the machine was turned off the next time the machine is turned on the local agent requests the user allow it to process the updates. If the user declines a reminder for a few hrs later is scheduled (eventually after X(custom defined) number of tries this becomes a non-skippable option)
Once the agent is back in communication with DTC server it broadcasts is current status to DTC server which updates the information viewed via the console.
