Scheduled email notifications
How can I schedule email notifications in SDP? I would like to send an email 3 times a week, every week. The email is to notify our users that their PCs will be rebooted giving them a 24, 48 and 72 hour advance notice.
What I've done to try to implement this:
1) Set up a Preventive Maintenance task that will create a request every Wed, Thurs and Friday.
2) Created a fake technician and placed it in the requestor field.
3) Since a request will be created based on the PM task, I figured I'd simply change the email notification template for "Acknowledge Requester by Email when a new request is received". HOWEVER, we are currently using this notification to notify users when an everyday request is created.
I looked at possibly creating a Business Rule, but the actions are limited and does not send an email.
Any suggestions?
