Scanning Timed Out

Newly implemented Manage Engine Patch Manager Plus 11.4.2524.01 with Agent version 11.4.2524.01.W. Computers are only scanned when the agent is installed or repaired. If I initiate a manual scan, the result is "scanning timed out". This applies to all computers with the agent. I have confirmed an inbound firewall rule exists on the Patch Manager server allowing TCP 8027 and 8383. I am not sure if this problem occurs with a scheduled scan as I have not yet found where to configure the frequency of scheduled scans. Any suggestions regarding which log file would help to identify the cause? Or any other suggestions I could check and try?
