scan for prohibited software and send a email for noticing?

i have set the notice rules in the asset.
"Notify Technicians when Prohibited Software are identified during Domain/Network Scan. "
But when i scan a computer and there is a prohibited software in the computer.But there is not a notice mail.
pls help.
