We are dealing with a customer that is requesting that they need that a customized field must be filled with information that is included in a SAP system. Basically the information refers to numeric ID for products or devices that  are included in the SAP database.

I wonder if this kind of interaction can be possible using REST API or maybe custom trigger? If so then I wonder if there is some info about the SAP versions that are supported and also how we can obtain some help to do this
