Running OpMgr, ServiceDesk and DeviceExpert on a single host
Folks,
I've been tesing the apps I am interestedin, namely OpManager, ServiceDeskPlus and DeviceExpert, one by one. Now I am trying to run all of them on a single machine, and that's where I ran into a large number of problems. First, it looks like each of the apps contains a copy of httpd, tomcat, and mysql. Second, all of the apps seem to run off of the same port :8080, Third, mysql would not run if there is another version is already installed on the system. The rest of the problems I related to the ones mentioned above, making the install very complicated and difficult.
I guess my questions are as follows:
1. Is there an integration doc that describes how to install/run all of Netmanage apps on a single box?
2. Is there any way to download just webapp containers (along with the detailed config document), so I could run them on the existing tomcat installation ?
3. Is there a doc that describes structure/location of the config files for each application? (for example, I'd prefer to run mysql part of all apps from my central mysql server, so I need sql scripts to set up tables, accounts, permissions, etc)
