Run OpManager in the background on Solaris

Hi, hope I don't sound stupid, but how can I run OpManager in the background on Solaris? Of course, I can start it with './StartOpManagerServer.sh &' which starts it and returns my prompt to me but when I log out I want it to keep running. I tried nohup but it still dies when I exit. Second, I tried creating a testfile, making it executable and nesting the ./StartOpManagerServer.sh & command within it. I nohup this one and run it in the background and works fine until I exit. What am I missing guys? Obviously I don't want the server to stop polling everytime I reboot my PC.

Thanks,
