I had this problem a long time ago, probably version 6, where if a password contains <> characters, it would be displayed correctly in the GUI, but would be truncated during retrie      val through the GUI.

It seems that 13220 (and still in 13221) has brought back this issue.   It appears to occur for both Firefox (latest) and Chrome/Edge (latest) browsers on both Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and WIndows 11/Server 2022.
