Results differ greatly from that shown by TOP command
After starting an Application Manager on server A, I created a service monitor which monitored the Apache service on server B and polled every one minute. It seems ok when the Apache is in no load.
Then I continuously run a shell script which executes "ab -n 5000 -c 1000 http://***:80/" continuously , the service monitor shows the CPU utilization on service B is below 5% all the time, while it keeps above 90% shown by the TOP command.
Could anyone explain it? Is there something wrong with my operation?
