Restoring Data to a Different Server - Losing Formatting
Hi,
I want to migrate my data to a different server and decomission the old one, and I'm attempting to create a backup file, and restore it to the other server using the backupdata and restoredata scripts in the bin folder (windows), and when I restore the data to the new server, it would seem that anywhere there are \'s they double up, and I lose my carriage returns from the request notes and various other formatting issues.
Is there something I'm missing here that would be causing this?
