Resource monitors on Windows 2003 server
I'm trying to setup the resource monitors in OpManager 7 beta for a windows 2003 server. I have enabled SNMP under windows and adjusted the settings as per the OpManager User Guide. I have added the SNMP resource monitors for HDD, CPU, and memory to the device in OpManager and entered the correct community string.
OpManager seems unable to retrieve the information it needs to show these monitors. I tried copying the Object ID from OpManager and pasted it directly into the MIB Browser. I get a message saying the object could not be found.
Do I need to manually install the HOSTRESOURCES MIB into Windows or is it present by default?
I've had no trouble getting resource monitors working with Cisco devices.
