Resource area of Template

Is there a way to make the questions in the resource section of a template mandatory fields?

I think this area is a great feature, but without being able to make the fields mandatory it's possible for a request to be submitted without pertinent information. One major purpose of templates is to save time - if data is missing and technicians have to spend time calling to get questions answered, it makes the template almost useless.
