Reset Inventory Details?

Is it possible to delete all inventory details of a system or to have them completely rescanned?
On some systems (including terminal servers), many entries have accumulated over time that are no longer up to date.
For example, very old Mozilla Firefox installations are still listed in the inventory, which have not existed for a long time (the paths have been checked).

A workaround so far is to delete the system from Endpoint Central and reinstall the agent on the system, but this method is not really nice in the long run, as we would have to re-install about 100 servers this way to remove outdated entries.
