I have seen this mentioned in several threads but I have not seen if there has been anything that arose from it. I want to be able to give a requester, our IT manager, the ability to see all the requests in the system, how many have be closed, overdue, open, etc. Basically I want them to be able to have read only access to any and all tickets in the system plus have the ability to get reports. With the 2 technician license we have this is not possible as we have 2 technicians. My manager is not and does not want to be a tech. She is a manager and only wants to oversee the department and how we are performing. We also do not want to "waste" money and purchase the 5 tech license only to allow her to view the requests n the system. That does not make any sense at all. Can anyone please let me know if this is something that is available now or if it will be available in the near future or why it won't be if that is the case. I can see several benefits to allowing this control. Thanks for any and all information regarding this.
