Requester can view question

I'm trying to hide certain additional request fields from the requester. I tried unchecking the Requester can view checkbox in the Request form customizer. This does remove the field from the request form, but the requester can see the field when he looks at the request after it has been opened.
How do I remove an additional request field from the requester view altogether, but keeping it visible for the technicians?
