Hello,
As of today, service desk plus does not offer any means for the requester to acknowledge receipt of an equipment.
Use Case:
A requester requests an equipment through a service request. Let us say the template is request a laptop. The requester logs in SDP and logs in his request by using the template of "Request a Laptop". The technician will work on the request and then deliver the laptop to the requester. However, there is no acknowledgement being carried out in SDP which certifies that the requester has indeed received the equipment.
Maybe something could be developed like a custom form sent to the requester or a form created on SDP to make the requester sign a form by the technician that he has indeed received the equipment and so that the requester cannot deny this in the future and there is proof that the requester has indeed received the equipment. This can be appended to the service request which has been created to deliver this service.
