Request template information into tasks

I'm testing version 7 of SD+ and trying to create request templates.

I have modified the standard new joinee template that is on there by default.

I populate the description with the new user details, when the tasks are created, none of this information is populated in the task, ie create AD entry is the blank standard task template from the new joinee template.

am I missing something ? I would assume that the call created with the information in the description would auto populate into the task for the technician ?

if not, how does the technician know the details to complete their task ?

also, is there a way to assign a task to a group ?
