Are there any plans to add 'request closure code' to the template fields?
We would like to make the request closure code available in the template, without making it a required field. If the code is 'success' we don't want to take the time to complete it, but we are interested when requests might be closed for other reasons like 'cancelled', 'postponed', 'unable to reproduce' etc..
It seems the only way to allow technicians to complete the 'Request Closure Code' is to enable the 'Yes, prompt a message' in Admin>Request Closing Rules>Confirm User Acknowledgment.
I tried turning this prompt off and the pop-up containing both requestor acknowledged/request closure code disappears. It seems the only way to set the request closure code is to enable this feature, but then technicians have to click 'Close' on this panel for the majority of the 'Success' requests they work on.
I reviewed all request closure code topics in this forum and found one titled 'Activate 'Request Closure Code' on ticket resolution' dated 9/11/13 where Maljeev in SDP Support adds the comment 'Note: You won't find this option (request closure code) on the template.'
Thanks in advance for a reply,
Connie
