Hi all,
I'm looking to create a report that shows us how many tickets are open on a certain day. It doesn't matter when they were opened or if they were closed after it but simply on Jan 31st how many tickets had the status set to open.
Looking at the report builder the simple date selection doesn't seem to make sense for this report. None of the single date fields line up with this idea.
Then using the advanced filtering I'm currently trying to set completion date to null AND opened date to later than Day X or Day X +1. The challenge I had was setting completion date to NULL in the report.
EDIT: I'm back to thinking [again] completion date needs to be NULL (still open) OR after Day X AND opened date later than Day X.
EDIT 2: I uploaded my most recent version/idea on how this would work.
Does anyone know of a simple way to pull this type of report. Or if there is a canned one I'm missing. Or if the simple date search behaves different than I expect it to.
