reoccurring problem with login window

we are running the 7.5 version of ServiceDesk plus at our office. Occassionally, in the mornings before any of the employees have logged in, all the service desk login pages do not show the network selection dropdown menu, and therefore none of the users can log in. not even the administrator accounts on the local authentication.

At this point we need to shut down the serivce desk system from the server and reboot it. after that, it usually works. but its still nuisance to have to deal with.

we believe it may be related to the active directory synchronization.

is this a known problem and is there anything we can do to remedy the situation?
