Renaming Workstations by Script (SDP 7 Ent.)
Due to the DNS suffix bug (raised with ServiceDeskSupport [Request ID :##6005320##] : DNS Suffix) I have a LARGE number of PC's displaying the wrong DNS suffix.
I need a script that will update the database (currently using MYSQL but can upgrade to MSSQL) and modify every wrong entry to the correct one for me. There is no way I am editing over 600 workstations 1 by 1!
I also have a number of duplicate Workstation names, again a script must be the way to go...
