Why this change?
Weak and outdated ciphers are vulnerable to known attacks.Strong ciphers protect data in transit and help us meet industry security and compliance standards.Consistent cipher policy across all DCs reduces security risk for every customer.
What to do
1. Browser access:
Upgrade to the latest version of your browser, or to one that supports strong ciphers.Older Legacy version browsers may show connection or SSL/TLS handshake errors after the change.
2. Agents and tools that make API calls:
Any agent, integration, or script that calls our APIs must be updated to support strong ciphers. Review the libraries and upgrade them.
3. SDP Probe and Provisioning tools:
Machines running the SDP Probe and Provisioning tools must operate on a supported modern operating system (such as Windows 11, updated Windows 10, or Windows Server 2022 or later) configured with strong modern ciphers. Running unsupported operating systems or lacking the required modern cryptographic support will cause handshake failures and break synchronization between the tools and the SDP.
Kindly complete all pending upgrades by Nov 1 2026 for Phase 2 DCs.
Phase 1: JP, AU, UK, SA, and CN. Completed
Phase 2: DCs - US, EU, IN, CA
