Remote Script execution

Hi,

I'm looking for the ability to execute remote scripts on linux/unix servers and be able to set a threshold on the output they produce. I know this ability exists in the Application Manager product, but I need to also be able to monitor network elements like routers and switches - an option that does not exist there.

I want our server farm administrators to have a single complete view of the network, so I do not wish to divide the monitors across two monitoring systems.

Is it possible to implement these abilities somehow in one (either) product? or create one view based on the two products (opManager and Application Manager)
