remote script execute

hi,
i am trying to execute shell script from windows app manager to linux server where my production server exsist i want to monitor server if server goose down it should run the script.
my problem is, i can't create action
1-where my script file will be in local or where the my production server is, app manager is on windows and production server is linux.
2-directory to execute contain what ? tips says give mode like /bin/bash
and help file says give path where your script is
please help me
if i will copy my startserver.sh file to windows i don't think it will run in windows env. it has to run directly on remote linux server right ?
