It is about remote desktop when workstations are in a remote site. (with only private IPs) 

I suppose that the server connects to the network that makes the connection with the workstation. Maybe it will be necessary to install an agent by hand on the remote site. 

Is it possible to get some documentation about the way the connection process?

I would like to know exactly how the flow works.
