Regarding the uniqueness of the Resource Identifier

Hi everyone, I was going through the API documentation for Endpoint Central, specifically, Get Scan Computers: https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/api/api-inventory-scancomputers.html

It's mentioned that we get a resource_identifier field in the response. Examples: 313, 1204, etc. I also noticed that this ID is also used in other calls to get more details for that resource.

I have two questions about this, and it would be great if you could help:

For on-prem, is this resource_id unique for different environments? Our use case involves fetching assets from different endpoint central environments. For example, I have customer 1 with environment 1, and customer 2 with environment 2. Is it a possibility that env 1 and env 2 has same resource ID? Because, in my environment, the ID was 302 which is a very small number, so I thought that across the environments, they might be duplicate.
Similarly, for cloud, what will be the behavior for resource_identifier?
