Regarding CPU,Memory & Disk Utilization

On both my servers & desktops i have my Snmp enabled but when i go on to Event log rules & click Test Credential option in it it says snmp & wmi failed.Moreover for what purpose this MIB Browser & Switch port mapper is used.on certain systems i do get the cpu & memory utilization while i dont receive data for disk usage...And on certain systems even when SNMP is enabled i dont get the data for CPU, Memory & Disk usage...Please advice
