Hello,

I was attempting to configure alerts for Prohibited Software Installations, and I was not prompted to select/input an email address to receive alerts for this.

I looked into the documentation, and it states that alerts will be sent to IT Administrators, by default, and I didn't see any options to select in the Mail settings to configure email groups/default emails, and I didn't see any permissions settings that could be adjusted to have a field such as "Receive Alerts."

I would like to suggest that the following things be implemented/adjusted:

1. Allow multiple alert profile creations for Software/Hardware assets, with each alert profile having the ability to have different email addresses input. For example, the Security Team would like to get alerts for Prohibited Software, but the IT Asset manager would like to get alerts for Hardware events. It doesn't make sense to have all alerts going to all IT Admins, regardless.
2. Enable a setting in Groups that will enable/disable alerts. For example, the IT Admins should get alerts, but not IT Technicians, which would be helpful if someone was previously in one role and needed those alerts, but they have changed jobs, and no longer need them. I would prefer the first suggestion, but it would be nice to be able to be granular by group, as well.
3. Be able to set up alerts in the Device Control add-on for excessive USB activity and other activity that is tracked. I know that there is a similar feature in the DLP Add-on, but that feature requires a lot of overhead on the devices that some of our older devices can't handle.

I know that I am asking for a lot, but at the end of the day, we should be able to configure alerts. It just isn't feasible to constantly go through all of the tabs and manually search for the data. I know that we have reports that can be customized, but having real-time alerts generating would be much better.
