Red Hat ES 3 - does not display all mount points
I'm struggling to get OpManager to get free disk space information from our Red Hat ES 3 Linux servers.
When I try to add a Resource Monitor for free disk space (GB or MB), I can only see some mount points, but not (as luck would have it) the ones I actually want to monitor (/data). On two of the servers the mount point I want to monitor (/data) is owned by a user account other than root (but I can access it as root when I ssh to the server manually). These two servers have mirrored disks. The command df -h as root works as expected:
/dev/mirrored00/root 2.9G 248M 2.5G 9% /
/dev/sda1 99M 27M 68M 28% /boot
/dev/mirrored00/home 985M 860M 76M 92% /home
/dev/mirrored00/opt 4.9G 3.1G 1.6G 66% /opt
/dev/mirrored00/data 102G 72G 25G 75% /data**
**OpManager shows all mount points except this one
In OpManager, for the third server, which uses logical volumes, I can only see /boot, /shm, and another mount point called "Mounted" (which does not actually exist on the server when you do df -h), when trying to add a Resource Monitor.
I'm using SSH to connect to these servers, and I'm 100% sure that I specified the correct details under the Passwords section of each server. OpManager collects other data from these servers quite happily - but not for free disk space monitors.
Any ideas why this would be happening?
