The ManageEngine Endpoint Central agent installed on machines repeatedly and automatically uninstalls itself, roughly every time it is reinstalled. Log analysis confirmed that the uninstallation is explicitly ordered by the central server (it is not a failure of the installer or the agent itself), under the stated reason that "the machine was removed from the Scope of Management (SOM)". A full, verified local cleanup was performed (uninstall, registry purge, installation folder purge) followed by a brand-new installation, which should in theory generate a new Resource ID on the server — yet the same behavior recurred, ruling out a locally cached identifier as the cause. Support is requested from all three parties to determine the server-side / network-side / hardware-side root cause.
