Disable the USB drives from security
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor
double-click Start, in the value data box, type 4 (in Hexa) To DIsable.

Write protect the USB storage device
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies
setting name 'WriteProtect' dword with 1 to Enable and 0 to Disable.
