Questions & Suggestions for Improvement (Long)
IMPROVEMENT
I would request a finer grained AD workstation scanning scheduler. The reason for this is that we manage a number of domains scattered around the globe. In order for the domain scanning to work I need to be able to set at what time of day the scans should be performed, otherwise the chances are that most workstations in several domains are shut down, hence no data is collected.
IMPROVEMENT
When additional fields are added for requesters they can be changed by the requesters themselves under My Details. I would like an option to a) hide them completely from others than technicians and b) display only to requester (but no edit).

The solutions database needs a major overhaul when it comes to security and access. I would like to be able to specify which requesters/groups or site members should be able to view/search a particular solution. Also I would like the possibility of adding own fields to solutions. We operate in a multilingual company � so I for an example would like to add a language field to the solution to indicate what language is being used in the text/attached files.

We have a large park of legacy equipment where we don�t exactly know where it�s bought etc. How can I add an asset (cellphone/printer) without first creating a vendor.

I would like to have the option to per default filter out all software that is excluded (it should still scan for them) so the software view isn�t cluttered for the technician with all windows hot fixes and such.
QUESTION/IMPROVEMENT
In the solutions/knowledge database it is possible to insert pictures and such. But we have a large collection of documents already formatted nicely in MS Word; my question is if these can be �printed� to html from word and imported somehow. If not I would like to request an import function of documents into the knowledgebase.

We need to handle multiple currencies and not only USD since we are an international company; when will this be available in SDP? I found in a forum you kind of promised internationalization last year; is it in the near pipeline at this moment?

On a workstation or asset I would like to attach notes and/or attach files. Is this functionality available within the SDP framework, if not � is this something you are considering to implement?
Another suggestion is that since I kind of assume you have some sort of release management system in place for features/future plans. Couldn't that be published for registred users so we can se when things get backlogged or bumped up in the development chains. Most open source projects has these (www.glpi-project.org) and even HP and IBM has this open for registred users for their similar products.
