Questions about different browsers, e-mail function...

I�m working at a university in Sweden. We are about to buy and implement a new system for our servicedesk. We are very impressed with ServiceDesk Plus. It has a clean look, is easy to use and has the most of those important features we are looking for.
I apologize if my english is bad or if there is something that is hard to understand!
I would like to know the answer to some questions:
Hosting and legal aspects
What platform is used for developing the system?
What programming-language i used? PHP, ASP?
Do we host the database?
What are the database-server requirements?
Do we host the system?
What are the system-requirements for the system?
Are we allowed to do adjustments to the system?
Are we allowed to do adjustments to the database?
Are we allowed to use the information in the database as we like?
Are we allowed to get information from the database as we like?
Which browsers does the ServiceDesk plus work with?
We hade some trouble with getting the datefunction to work with Safari and Firefox. When you click the calender and choose a date, instead of importing the date, some javascript code is printed in the field.
E-mail to new request?
Did I understand the information about modes to create a request?
E-mail the request to the help desk team. This e-mail will be automatically converted to a new request in the ServiceDesk Plus application.
Is there a feature were you can create a new request from incoming e-mail to outlook or directly from the exchangeserver to a specific e-mail-account? Were do I specify the e-mailadress, that should be used in this feature?

Is there a feature were you can connect ServiceDesk Plus to the phone, in order to get the caller id, from our phonesystem?
