Questions About Backup Options and Practises

I am aware that SupportCenter Plus provides the backUpData.bat and restoreData.bat scripts to manually generate and restore backups, with the backup files being written to the ...\SupportCenter\Backup folder.

I also noticed that there is the ...\SupportCenter\scheduledbackup folder, which contains weekly backup files that have the same naming convention as the files created manually in ...\SupportCenter\Backup.

My questions are:

1. Do the backups created automatically in scheduledbackup contain the same information as would be captured in a manually generated backup (i ask because the manual backup file I generated is about 1Mb in size compared to the 400Kb for the scheduled backup file)?

2. How do you control when these scheduled backups are run?

3. Can you have them generated daily, say, rather than weekly?

4. Does the mechanism used for the scheduled backups also allow you to specify how many backup files to retain?

5. Apart from the application data captured in the backup files, are there any other SupportCenter Plus files or folders that best practise would suggest you backup (e.g., XML configuration files, log files, etc.)?

Thanks
