Question regarding updates that fail due to lack of disk space

Question regarding updates that fail due to lack of disk space

In our current deployment, I have a user's machine which has two patches that have a Status of Failed and a Remark of  "There is not enough space on the disk." All I want to know is if these will remain in this status and not be retried (requiring a manual retry deployment), or if the patches will retry until the retry limits are exhausted, potentially succeeding at installation once the disk space issue is resolved. If they don't retry by default, but there is a setting that can be changed to make it do so, please point me to documentation on how to do this. Thank you.
