Question on Patch Deployment Behavior with Reboot

Question on Patch Deployment Behavior with Reboot

Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed a difference in behavior when deploying patches that require a reboot compared to WSUS, and I’d like to know if anyone else has experienced this.

  • In WSUS, when a patch requires reboot, the patch can remain pending even after multiple restarts, until the user/admin decides to apply it.

  • In Patch Manager Plus, once the machine reboots, the patch gets applied automatically at the first restart.

Is this the expected behavior in Patch Manager Plus?
And is there any way to configure it so that patches can remain pending across reboots, similar to how WSUS works?

Thanks in advance for your insights!
