We are currently using distributed edition of 11000. Questions:

- what is the max flow rate can be handled by 1 collector? with what sort of hardware spec?

- When I clicked on <Collectors> link in the Central Server page, I can see that it showed collector details with each collector flow rate. But, when I cick into each individual collector and opened its Flow Rate link, I found the flow rate is differed from the reading in central server. E.g. Central server show collector 1 flow rate is 3077; but flow rate within collector 1 is 8961. why there is such a big difference?

- if I want to estimate how many collectors should I use, then I should use the reading from Central server or collector server?
