Question about Alerts sent at Monitor Group Level

Question about Alerts sent at Monitor Group Level

Hello,

I have a basic question about sending alerts out from the Monitor Group level. Our typical configuration for alerting from Manage Engine is that there are no alerts configured at the host level - all hosts are members of a Monitor Group and alerts are configured to go out at the Monitor Group level when one of the hosts goes down or Health becomes critical.

Recently we have run into a problem with this approach due to the following scenario: One member of a group may get a Critical Health alert, say for Disk Space usage. The associated Monitor Group will then go critical and send an alert. Perhaps the disk space issue is not an immediate emergency and so doesn't get dealt with for a coulpe of days. During that time, if another member of the Monitor Group goes down, we do not receive additional alerts from the Monitor Group.
This is precisely the issue - we would like to configure Manage Engine to send out a Monitor Group alert EACH time a member of the group has a critical action. By default it appears that once a Monitor Group is in the red, it will not bother sending any additional alerts for that Monitor Group even though additional depencies (hosts) may fail.

Is there a way to change this behaviour?
