I have a use scenario and I'm curious if the Project module will satisfy it.

All of our IT equipment runs off of a rotating 4 year lease schedule. Our organization has about 2000+ devices so there is always Schedule reaching its end of life and needing to be replaced by a new one.

I'd like a way to list these Schedules with their Start/End dates. That way I can look at a Year view and see which ones are ending and need to have new ones started to replace them.

The drawback I can see with using the Project module is it would be a perpetual Project that is always open, that we area always adding new Tasks/Milestones too in order to populate the Gantt chart.

Does anyone have a possible other solution or should the Project module work fine in that regard?
