I'm trying to figure out how to make use of custom views for the project list when in Gantt view. This would be of great benefit to me as I have around 30 projects in my IT division which then fall under 5 smaller teams that I manage. I have a custom view for each team so I can see just the projects in the list for that team. However, switching to Gantt view is not very helpful as it appears to just show projects for all IT divisions under it and I must manually select all the projects I want to see each time I go into Gantt view. It would be fantastic if I could just switch to Gantt view with the custom view applied then I could visually have an idea about a specific team's project timelines and when I can plan the next project without having to waste time selecting individual projects from a list when I already have a filter (custom view) setup.

I'm hoping this functionality already exists and I just missed it. If not, is there a workaround I can use to get a visual timeline for projects using saved filters based on owners?

Is this something that could be added to the road map?
