I am monitoring various processes on several different servers. Most of these work fine, but one server keeps showing all of the processes down when they are not. Sometimes this happens several times a day, sometimes it doesn't do this for a couple weeks.

I have yet to figure out if there is a pattern to this, and I don't see any configurations that differ from other servers.

The one thing I have noticed, is if I click "Add Monitor" I can see the processes there, and after I do that, the next time it updates it shows the process as running again. If I don't do this, it can take hours (or days) to clear the alarm.

 

If anyone can give me a reason why this might be happening, That would be helpful.
